Habitat
Primarily lentic-littoral, some lotic-depositional or lotic-erosional. Coenagrionidae are the most common family of damselfly and will almost always be found in ponds, lakes, swamps, marshes, and ditches. A few species live in rocky substrates in riffle areas in streams or rivers.
