Fact
8-29mm. Their lower lip is shaped like a bowl or spoon, best seen in lateral view. They may have a row of stubby mid-dorsal spines or hooks along its abdomen. The lobes of their lip are notched. Habitat
Primarily lentic-littoral and lotic-depositional. Libellulidae nymphs are usually the most abundant family of dragonflies found in ponds, lakes, swamps, marshes, and ditches.
