Habitat Lotic-erosional. Calopterygidae nymphs are never found in fast, splashing water or on rocks. They are always found in flowing water with moderate current.
Feeding Information Engulfer-predators.
Water Quality Tolerance Mostly somewhat tolerant. Some species are facultative.
