Description |

Habitat |
Generally found burrowed in lotic sediments, but also lives in lentic and littoral sediments. Gomphidae larvae are more common in flowing waters than other families of dragonflies and damselflies. |

Hides in sediments and ambushes prey. |

Primarily somewhat sensitive - some species are very sensitive to somewhat tolerant. |
