Description |

Habitat |
Hydra can be found in freshwater environments with hard substrate. They attach to solid surfaces such as stones, twigs, and vegetation. |
Feeding Information |
Each of their tentacles have stinging cells that are used to stun aquatic invertebrates and plankton. Stunned prey is then engulfed whole and digested. |

Low tolerance to pollution. |
