Habitat Hydra can be found in freshwater environments with hard substrate. They attach to solid surfaces such as stones, twigs, and vegetation.
Feeding Information Each of their tentacles have stinging cells that are used to stun aquatic invertebrates and plankton. Stunned prey is then engulfed whole and digested.
Water Quality Tolerance Low tolerance to pollution.
