Description |

Habitat |
Lentic-littoral, lotic-depositional, lotic-erosional. Habitats range from small springs to large rivers, ponds to marshes or lakes. Some live in temporary pools and streams while others live in damp, more terrestrial locations. |

Shredder-detrivores or herbivores, collector-gatherers, and scrapers. |
Water Quality Tolerance |
Mainly facultative. Limnephilidae is a very diverse family so a wide range of tolerance to pollution is expected. |
