Description |

Habitat |
Almost all lotic-erosional, but in a range of ecological conditions. Taeniopterygidae can be found in permanent streams of all sizes and temperatures. Larvae are often found near the edges of streams. |
Feeding Information |
Mainly shredder-detrivores. Some are collector-gatherers and scrapers. |
Water Quality Tolerance |
Somewhat sensitive, others are facultative. |
